Bitch

I encountered a bitch today. After a few hours and I am still feeling pissed. Ironically, later I overheard that bitch complaining with another person about why another person treat her badly. Suddenly the phrase "what goes around comes around popped in my head".

accommodate

That's me, so willing to accommodate my old stuff until I totally couldn't stand.

Immediate but not important stuffs,一天中出現數以千次。

我昨天就是幹了一大堆這樣的事情。

Lost suck at direction

I was a bit loss driving to and driving from IMAX theater yesterday. The area full of freeway cross section was still a mess to me and really confused me. :-<

Shopping is an addiction

After spending $550 buying a 24 inch monitor, and then $8 on a notebook speaker, I seem to get into an urge of doing more bargin shopping, which I think is dangerous. Shopping, just like TV Channel surfing, is an addiction to me. And addiction needs to be stopped.

I won't see IMAX in Houston again

I had a pretty unpleasant movie going experience today when I went to the IMAX version of Dark Knight (Batman).

First I have to clarify that the problem is NOT on the movie itself. The movie was very well made. I can't say that this is one of the top 10 movie of all time, but at least it's a good movie. The pacing was great, so the editor did a great job. The story was very well written. The performance Joker was simply awesome. Totally Oscar worthy. Cinematography was great. Action sequence were very well designed. Beware that the plot, especially Joker's plans were all very twisted and horrible. I strong recommend NOT letting you kid under 10 see it. They will have nightmare for weeks.

Now here comes the things I don't like. I don't like those cliche one liner. I know American movie viewer like that sort of stuff, but they made the movie less serious than it should be.

But my biggest complain is the IMAX theater I went to. It's probably because I sit too close to the screen. I felt sorry that I didn't follow my own advice getting there an hour in advance. In fact, I should be there 1.5 hours in advance in order to line up and get a better seats. So it turns out that I had to sit at the middle to front row. The result: I saw all the artifacts of the analog print of the movie. Too much motion on too huge a screen made me almost seasick. But even if I get to sit at the last 2 rows, I don't think I will enjoy the experience. The print quality is just not good.

So I will give digital projection a chance to prove it's worthiness to me. But if it failed, then I will never go to therater again, and instead wait for Blueray release and then rent it. So long for horrible picture quality.

Worry too much

I don't know why, but sometimes when I got hang up on worry about something, I just keep worry about it regardless.

For instance, yesterday I was driving back home from work. It was raining and the road condition is messing, kind of bumper and bumper. Also the road was kind of slippy. That's why when I reached the cross section seeing yellow light, I decided not to stop because I don't think I can stop in time, and the car behind me may not have enough time to stop too.

But after I reaching the intersection, the light turned red. I was nervous, mostly because the section has camera set up, which was used to take photos for people who ran a red light. Although usually when they take a photo they will also turn on the flash light, I still feel like I've been taking.

Maybe my fear will gone a few days later :-I

Fingernail

Something amazing happened right behind me during Sunday service. Someone actually clip her fingernail, making loud and clear fingernail clipping sound.

很想睡覺。非常想睡

First iPod game I ever brought

I didn't thought of playing video game on my iPod Classic 80Gb at all. I mean, what good is it playing games on that tiny screen? But then yesterday I came crossed some reviews that talks about a game from Square Enix called Song Summoner. The concept of playing a Square Enix game on my iPod seemed very appealing. So I gave it a shot and purchased it. It took a night to download the 128Mb of data, but I thought it was OK. And then this morning when I tried to sync the game it didn't got sync to my iPod. That's when I realized that my machine and my iPod was not being "authorized", and that I already authorized 3 other computers to sync with my iPod. I was like "the waht?". Anyway, I authroized my desktop, sync, and now the game is on my iPod. Hopefully I will find some time to play it in order to justify the $5 I spent.

Escape form a cult

I just woke up form a strange dream. In the dream, I was in a strange cult, and I wanted to escaped form it (I totally forgot the reason why I wanted to escape from it though :-I ). The interest part was that all my friends at elementary school was in the cult too (....).

Eventually I found a good opportunity while we were heading to a camp by plane (what the). I found a moment when no one was paying attention, and suddenly jumped out of the plane and safely landed next to a bus stop (withOUT wearing any parachute). And I rushed to the bus. It was by that time I realized that I didn't bring my backpack with me. The backpack has tons of my stuff (like in real life) and now it's on the plane.

And then I woke up.

So that's BBC's TopGear ...

Finished watching Top Gear Season 11 Episode 2. Yes, it really is like car porn. I am not a automobile fan but the camera works are pretty sweet.

Surprise, Kung Fu Panda is actually a good movie

I usually don't have much hope on Dreamwork's animation. Movies like Sherk relies on cheap pop culture spoof that requires too much US entertainment background knowledge as prerequisite to enjoy. Kung Fu Panda, on the other hand, has a nice plot by itself. Also, voice over like Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman do a great job in providing energy all the way til the end. The graphic and effects are beautiful and treat the Chinese culture in respect.

And best of all, it's a real Kung Fu movie but Kung Fu sequence carefully choreographed. You can tell that people who made this movie really respect the Kung Fu movie culture. This is a real tribute to Kung Fu instead of being a cheap spoof. Even the physica
l humors are very Jackie Chan style.

So praise around the globe, you know for sure that Kung Fu Panda 2 is coming soon.

Wasted half an hour

I didn't pay attention to the fact that today is Independence Day, which means that the church won't open today, and went ahead drive to church to attend the band practice. There was, of course, not body there when I got to the church. Actually, I realized that something was wrong in the middle way of driving there. By then it was too late. Oh what the heck.

No eggs in microwave

All I want to say is never put eggs in microwave. Period. Tried it and made a mess. I've just thrown away the evidence :-E .
