Roland HD-1 V-Drums Lite Electronic Drum Kit

I got my new electronic drum set last night, and it's fun to play and practice with, and well worth the US$799 price tag.

The drum set, Roland HD-1 V-Drums Lite Electronic Drum Kit, is the low end model of V-Drum family. Yet, it does basically everything I need. In fact, one of the drum sound module has double bass drum setup, so now I can practice double bass drum at home.

Being a low end model, this set has some short coming, for instance, the sound setting is very limited. There's no cymbal canceling when snapping the edge of the plastic cymbal. There's no rim for you to play rim or rim short. The arrangement of the instruments are also limit.

But the compact size is a perfect for those who live in apartment, and all arms and hardwares are strongly build.

So, so far, for the first day, I am loving it.
