The
new Nook looks pretty good, but to me it still have several problems:
- No Traditional Chinese or unicode support what so ever. Sure there are tricks and hacks that people were doing even on the original Nook. But I don't like the idea of spending US$140 and still need to fight the device in order to do what it supposed to do.
- No Photos (JPEG/PNG) viewer, let me say it directly, no manga reading feature. Sure there are, once again, hacks, like converting JPEGs into PDF and such. But again, I am lazy.
So even thought the size, resolution, price totally match my expectation, I am still very reluctant to get one since I am full aware that I will use the device to read manga most of the time instead of using it to read books.
