KInect - Second Impression

Henry (my cousin) and I tried Kinect last week at downtown Montreal shopping mall, and we were both impressed.  So we were both pretty excited by today's Kinect launch.  We went to Best Buy at 8 am, and found that there were already some people buying Kinect.  We grabbed one and went back home, and took last than 15 minutes to set it up with system software update.  No internet connection is required, so for those of you who got the machine modded, you can enjoy Kinect without risking being banned by Microsoft through XBox Live.

I tried the Kinect Adventures, which is the game that comes with hardware, and it worked exactly like how it was when we tried it last week.  It does require some space in your living room, and thus makes me wonder how good the device will sell in Hong Kong.  But in North America, it should have no problem gaining fans and provide tons of family fun.

I'll probably buy Dance Central just because I want to see my niece dance Lady GaGa's Poker Face.
